Privacy policy

How account data is accessed and handled.

This privacy policy explains what Google account data is accessed by the YAAG, how that data is used for automated summarizing of statistics and improving quality insights, how long data may be retained, and how users can contact the developer regarding privacy requests.

1. App identity

YAAG is a web-based workflow used to connect a Google account and produce automated summaries based on connected YouTube statistics.

Effective date: May 29, 2026. This page is intended to serve as the public privacy policy page linked from the main website and related OAuth setup.

2. What the app does

The app allows a user to sign in with Google, approve limited access, and generate automated summaries from available account statistics. Those summaries are intended to help review performance and improve the quality of the user’s output.

The workflow is intended for read-only access and summarization purposes. It is not designed to publish, upload, edit, or otherwise modify a user’s YouTube account on the user’s behalf.

3. Google data and requested scopes

The app requests only the scopes listed below and uses them only for the service purposes described in this privacy policy.

openid Used for identifying the connected Google account during sign-in and account linking.
./auth/youtube.readonly Used for read-only access to YouTube-related statistics and account data needed for automated summaries and quality-oriented insights.

Only the information needed to authenticate the user and generate the requested summary is intended to be accessed through these scopes.

4. How the data is used

Data obtained through the connected Google account is used only to authenticate the user, retrieve the relevant read-only YouTube statistics, generate automated summaries, and help improve quality insights related to the connected account.

The developer states that they do not manually look at user information for unrelated purposes. The information is not used for advertising, resale, or unrelated profiling.

5. Storage, retention, and deletion

Data may be stored only as needed to support workflow operation, summary generation, and continuity of use for the connected user.

Stored information is disposed of 3 years after the last action made by the user. Users may also contact the developer to request deletion or ask questions about retained information.

6. Sharing policy

User information obtained through this workflow is not shared with anyone. It is not sold, distributed, or disclosed to third parties for their own use.

If disclosure is ever required by law, only the minimum information legally required would be disclosed.

7. Security measures

Reasonable technical and organizational measures are used to help protect account information against unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, or alteration.

  • Only the stated scopes are requested for the workflow.
  • YouTube access is requested as read-only access for summary generation.
  • Use of data is limited to the described service purpose.

8. User choices and policy commitment

Users can decide whether to connect their Google account and may stop using the workflow at any time. Users may also contact the developer regarding privacy requests or deletion requests.

This application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is intended to follow the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
